Over the past few months I have been working on a project aimed at celebrating my home City Sheffields’ world famous reputation for the craft of metalwork. Over the past few months I have had the privilege to work alongside curators and trustees with some of the city's finest collections. My aim is to explore and plant associations with both items in the collection from common tools to beautiful pieces of cutlery and tableware. I hope the result is an original and beautiful celebration of the city and those thousands of skilled artisans who helped build Sheffield’s world class reputation.
